Broderick S. Schwartz is a graduate student pursuing his PhD in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Iowa. Broderick was awarded his BS, with distinction, in mechanical engineering at Purdue University in 2019. Broderick enjoys working to solve complex problems that make use of his varied experience and require dynamic learning. Cyber-physical systems hold special interest for him as they provide both breadth of application and specificity of focus. A midwest native, Broderick is a casual outdoorsman who enjoys mountain biking, trail running, and anything with a frisbee. When the weather is good, you may find him in his hammock in an out-of-the-way spot near the river reading a novel or history book.
